A TRIBUTE TO KIT KAT (18.04.09)

It saddens me today to write that another one of our beautiful animal friends was put to rest this morning.
Yesterday started like any other for Kitty, she scratched on the front door to come in for her morning feed. She went to greet the neighbour before his morning walk, a ritual she developed over the many years she was with us.
Then last night at dinner I was aware something was very wrong with her. Our young kitten wanted to lick her, a chore that Kitty would not normally have tolerated.
Then about an hour later she became extremely ill. So we put her to bed in the laundry, made her as comfortable as possible and hoped that nature would take it's course and we wouldn't have to make that dreaded decision once again.
Unfortunately that wasn't the case and here I write her tribute.
We will miss her waiting for us and greeting us every time we left our house. She always greeted people when they visited. She acted as a guardian of our house.
Although she wasn't a lap cat, she had a certain presence that will be missed by us all and also her two companions who are grieving in their cat ways.
Love to you Kitty and we thank you for just being the cat that you were. You taught us many things and we were blessed to have you in our lives.

Today our little Grand-daughter Alexis Rose is big enough to be in an open crib.
She is'nt attached to any monitor's and will experience her first bath tomorrow.
The excitement felt by our birth family is truly beautiful.
This little being is a gift,as we All Are.
Life is amazing.
With each new day comes another adventure.
To wake with excitement about a new day dawning.
To trust in what Life has to offer.
Is a Gift in itself.

BEING TRUE TO SELF

Felt this was beautiful.
This morning while dressing,Taylor was on our bed glaring at me,giving me the very clear message
"That has humans we continually cover up who we are."
So my reply to him was it's ok for him because he has such a beautiful fur coat.
Immediately he came and gave me a loving cuddle as only cats can do and replied "Go naked into the world and just be.Be who you are.Don't hide behind your outer being.Show who you are.Be true to yourself."
WOW!!!
Beautiful and completely unexpected.
It is so clear the more we allow and trust,the more open we are to Source and All That Is
In Love and Light.

"KISSY" 1993-2008

It saddens me to write that yesterday 24th May '08...
Kissy our beautiful Burmese cat passed away.
She was 15 yrs. old and although we only had her for 10 yrs. she shared her love so gently and quietly.
She was only really sick for about 4 days, apparently she was suffering from renal failure, became extremely weak,was in and out of consciousness. We took her to the Vet, he administered three separate injections and told us if there was no improvement within 48 hrs,the kindess gesture would be to put her to sleep.
In the next 40hrs. she went downhill really quickly,it gave us all time to say goodbye and give her comfort like she always gave to us all so unconditionally.So on Saturday morning we went to the Vet and stayed with her,our son stroking her head and me holding her paw,as the Vet did what seemed to be the only humane thing to do. My husband being the brave one for both of us. It didn't take long, she looked so peaceful. We brought her home, the boys dug a grave for her, we placed her in a wooden box with her pillow case that she normally slept on, we held a little service for her.
This all sounds a little morbid, but actually it was a beautiful event, our three remaining cats sense that she is gone and have been extremely loving in their gestures as cats are.
I felt it would have been wonderful if perhaps she had died without any human help,however it became evident that she would have suffered badly.She loved us all so much and if she had a choice I'm sure she'd rather have stayed. She will be sadly missed.
This is the difference between humans and animals, we do have choice, sometimes it's hard to either make a decision or for that matter trust that it's the right one, trust is so important, trust in yourself in the now moment.

MOTHER'S DAY

Hi to all the past mums, all the present mums and all the future mums."Happy Mother's Day". What a joy it is to celebrate all the Mothers through time. As we approach this day of unconditional LOVE, let us embrace "THE ALL". Even though the focus is on Mother's, we are All worthy of this Love and The Simplicity of "Unconditional "Love, it's only a choice. My passion is that We ALL Embrace "The Love Within." I have a statue of Archangel Michael in our back yard, he stands as a symbol of protection and strength, somehow I feel this is reflective of a Mother's Love, it is also a reflection of Mother Earth, Her Beauty and Her Strength.My own Mother passed when I was twenty four, I will always hold her Love in My Heart, she was a wonderful person and I feel her Love has continued to grow within Me as I Embrace My Own Love Within and Expand that Love Unconditionally To All on our planet. Have a Great Mother's Day to All.

1ST DAY OF APRIL

Hi Everyone.
I've been away in our van for a weeks holiday.

DUCKS

There were many ducks and birds that delighted us with
their energy.

Every morning they came and expected to be fed, it was interesting to watch, as one duck in particular, kept warding off other ducks from the feeding area, in this time the duck in question did not get any food.

It reminded me of how easily we can become distracted and get caught up in our own stuff and really the only one who misses out, is the one who wants to be in control.

So trust is a must and releasing fear is a big one this month.
Welcome to the 1st day of April.
As we embrace a new month and give thanks for the last month, let us reach out in LOVE to All.

As I'm writing this, our kitten "Teyla" is sharing his LOVE with me.

A MUMS GIFT

It's a wonderful day and made even more special because it's my Birthday. My husband John was doing some decluttering of a wardrobe and came across this drawing I made when I was in Grade 6. It brought me great joy and great love to be re-united with this drawing as it reminded me of my mum, who so patiently and lovingly sat with me, encouraged me to sumit it in the school colouring in competition. My mum has been passed for almost 27 years, however I felt her unconditional Love ever so present with-in me. Thanks mum for your Love.
