SOMETIMES (17.06.09)

Today I'm annoyed...
Yesterday while we were out for two hours in the afternoon...
The gas company changed our meter over...
Although we are grateful...
We were perplexed when we arrived home and found that we had no gas supply...
As we weren't aware of the change happening...
So...
Today here I am sitting at home...
Waiting to have our hot water turned back on...
A job that normally my husband can do, but for some reason is unable too...
So here I sit in the bliss of simplicity...
Annoyed...
Annoyed at the events that have developed...
We are meant to be celebrating our son's 21st with him...
But alas...
Here I am waiting...
I hope that my patience returns...
And I release the control or lack of it ...
Soon...
So a breathing session arrives for me...
It's funny though, because I'm always saying how my husband and I enjoy...
A simple lifestyle...
Well you can't get a lot more simple than...
No stove or...
Heating or...
Hot water...
Wow!
I am very grateful for our easy lifestyle of today.
As Tom Hanks said in the movie "Forrest Gump"
