The Creation Story Unfolding

At the beginning of this year I enrolled in a “Bachelor Of Ministry” course. This course was to take me four years to complete. A mammoth task to take on at the time, yet I was drawn and encouraged to apply, the next step being a student again. At the time I found the whole two terms challenging, I feel now eleven months later I’m beginning to see why I was led down this path of discovery. Obviously there was a lot of reading involved, including the whole “Bible” and of other authors points of view.
Being brought up a Catholic and attending private schools, I was very familiar with the “Bible” so I thought. This ancient text took me back in time and I found myself fully embraced by the whole Creation Story, I mean I actually felt and sensed being there. Awesome really! However I would have to say the challenges by being a new energy pupil really depleted my energy and I chose to quit, something that I’m certainly not accustomed too.
I now find myself up here in Alice Springs and once again being drawn to the Creation Story, of the Aboriginal Owners of the land. The Caterpillar Dreaming is of a particular interest to me, as it is very much about the beginning of time, the Creation Story. There is still so much to experience and embrace, so for now I leave you with a photo of the beautiful Caterpillar metal sculpture at the Cultural Centre.
